To put on the marionette, make sure you are applying the IMVU default female avatar firstly, then click (Put on) the marionette. The Marionette will replace the avatar you are wearing, because it is created from the IMVU default female avatar. To remove the puppet (marionette), put on any of your avatars. I may improve the animation of the puppet whenever possible. The trigger word is "marionette"!
