Kore of the Underworld 3

Long BM train dress named after Kore, also known as Persephone or Proserpine: goddess queen of the underworld, wife of the god Haides (brother of Zeus who, unlike the stupid version, was neither a demon set out to rule Olympus, nor hated Herakles/Hercules, but I digress). She was also the goddess of spring growth, who was worshipped alongside her mother Demeter in the Eleusinian Mysteries. This agricultural-based cult promised its initiates passage to a blessed afterlife.

This not-exactly ancient Greek dress is inspired on the very modern concept art of Persephone for the "God of War" game (which, from what I can tell, is just as faithful to Greek mythology as or Xena; yeah, I'm being sarcastic :)).

What's missing from the concept art is the black shawl, but there are plenty of good matching shawls you can find in the catalog to complete the ensemble.
