The Machine Head
(Despite the avie shown in this video, this version is for FEMALE avies Only!)

What do you get when you mix a Can Opener, a Super-Computer, and a Human Head? Well, usually some kinda horrifying mess, but in this case, you get the Machine Head! This cybernetic cranial replacement incorporates flesh and steel into a machine so full of life, you'd swear you can hear it's electronic pulse. Friends and Foes alike will marvel at your noggin, so spellbound by it's inner workings that they might forget you're in the room!

The Machine Head includes these Commands:
":D" for a Big Smile
">:D" for a Big, Evil Smile
">:(" to look really Angry

PLEASE NOTE: This item will only correctly fit the Female Avie Torso, and won't properly fit Male avies. There is a separate version for the Male avies available in the catalog. The head may or may not work with other avie torsos. It also replaces the Head avie and won't work with any other Avie heads. In addition this item DOES NOT REMOVE YOUR HAIR! You'll need a Bald Haircut to remove your hair (This is my SUPER Cheap one here: Cheap Bald Head for Women ). It may or may not look good with your existing hair or head-wear. In all cases, please use TRY IT before you BUY IT! There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't work with your existing outfit or body type.

Wish the Machine Head was Gun-Metal Blue? Hate those Blinking Lights? How about some SOUND EFFECTS?? Well then, quite complaining and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started:

This is the Texture for the Head's metal Frame. Use this to make small changes, like altering the color of the Frame:

This is the Wireframe layout for the Frame. This shows you exactly how each and every pixel attaches to the Frame. You'll need this if you plan on making an entirely Frame skin from scratch, or need pin-point precision for your alterations. This is something best left for the advanced users:

This is the Texture for the CPU inside the frame. Basically the "Brain" part that glows:

This is the Opacity layer for the CPU. This helps determine which parts for the CPU are see through, allowing you to see the animated inner core that makes it appear to blink. White is Solid, and Black is invisible. If you wish to change the shape of the holes, you need to make sure your work is reflected on the CPU Texture. Use the Wireframe below to guide your cuts:

This is the Wireframe layout for the CPU. You'll need this if you wish to change the shape of the holes in the Opacity Layer, and/or recreated the CPU Texture from scratch:

This is a "Wireless" version of the CPU texture map. It's missing the wire pattern shading, so you can add your own without having to erase mine. This is only useful if you plan on redoing the Wire Patterns on the CPU from scratch:

This is the Energy Texture. This covers the glowing parts you see under inside the CPU's core, as well as the Wires that go between the Core and the flesh parts, and the Neon Tubes in the Frame. Alter this to change the color of the effect. If you wish to alter the speed of the movement, look under Material settings in Previewer:

This is the Wireframe layout for the Energy Texture. You'll need this if you wish to have specific colors go through certain sections, or to stop the animation altogether and just paint these parts solid colors to remove the flash:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
