The Vat

Who doesn't what a huge vat of toxic chemicals in their living room? You don't? Well I made one anyways! This item includes two different sit spots, for either floating like a dead fish or taking an enjoyable swim. Regardless of what you do, it had hundreds of frames of bubbling animation, to help remind you that this is TOXIC WASTE. So, obviously, jump on in!

Like all Furniture items, you can use the Furniture Controls to copy, move, scale, and rotate this item as much as you desire. Once you own one, you can use it as many times as you like, in every room you own, and place as many copies as you see fit, as well as scale and rotate it to suit your needs. You can not place furniture items in rooms you do not own.

-----------------------------------------=] Deriving! [=-----------------------------------------

Wish that Vat was actually a swimming pool? Prefer blood over acid? Or LAVA?!? Well then, buddy, start Deriving! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started (Right Click and Save As to your computer):

This is the Texture map for the Vat's Body. Use this to make simple changes, like color or decals. As you will notice the upper sections of both halves are actually the INSIDE of the Vat. You'll want to keep this in mind when adding a water line:

This is a "Gray" template of the Vat's Body. Use this to make a completely new texture but retain all of my careful shading:

This is the Wireframe Template for Vat's Body. This allows you to see exactly how the Texture is applied to the model's structure. Use this to make a completely new Texture from scratch.:

This is the Opacity layer for the Vat's Acid Surface and Bubbles. An Opacity image is like a Black and White silhouette, which tells the computer which parts of the image should be visible, and which should not. Basically, the darker the image becomes, the less of the model is visible. You can make both the Bubbles and the Acid solid, if you wish, with a completely white image. Or remove both with a solid black image:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Also avoid looping sounds, as they tend to get annoying to listen to very quickly. Try to keep your volume levels low as well, as IMVU tends to over-amplify all audio playback to near ear-bleeding levels.
