The Mutt Ears v2
(This item is listed under Female Accessories, but works for Men as well)

Huge, floppy, animated ears. Cute, weird, and utterly unnatural, what furry/monster setup would be complete without these bizarre ears? The automatically animate with hundreds of frames of animation, making them EXTRA floppy and even more weird then the picture you see suggests. Give them a try, we won't judge! (We will put you on a watchlist though....)

These Ears were designed with this head in mind:

Men's Alien Mutt Head

Women's Alien Mutt Head

PLEASE NOTE: Despite the Mutt Ears's listing as a Women's Accessory, this item DOES work for Men as well! It should work with most hairstyles and heads, but if you use too many head accessories it might with others. The color and appearance of the Head Tails can only be altered by deriving a new version. See the Deriving Section below. Please use TRY IT before you BUY IT to ensure it works with your chosen outfit! There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't work with your existing outfit or body type.

Want a brown monkey tail? Blue fur? BRILLIANT GOLD?!? Well then, get to work and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Here are the templates you'll need below:

This is the actual Texture map used for the Ears. Use this to make simple changes, like color. Keep in mind that this image is mirrored for the Left ear, so things like text will appear backwards. Contact me if you need a version that is text compatible:

This is the Wireframe for the Tails. This shows you exactly how the Texture map adheres to the structure of the model. You'll need this if you want to create a completely new Texture from scratch:

You shouldn't need to add any sound, but if you do, only do so under a new, custom Actions you have added. NEVER UNDER "stance.Idle". I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Please keep your sound volume levels within acceptable limits. DON'T MAKE YOUR SOUND AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!!! Loud sounds will annoy other users, and reduce your sales. Also avoid using Looping sounds, as IMVU has no controls to stop Looping sounds once they start playing.
