This scene puts you on a fictional beach in Malibu, California.

Fictional because the beach is not crowded with tourists, paparazzi, and movie stars trying to work on thei suntan. Also, in this scene, you are on an island, and there are only views of islands from Malibu, because Malibu is on the coast, and is not an island.

The islands in view are the Channel Islands, a National Marine Sanctuary. What can you do in this scene? Around a campfire (now illegal in the REAL Malibu) you can carry on conversations, work on your suntan, and enjoy whatever beverages you might have brought along. You cannot swim in this scene. Most people in Malibu don't swim at the beach either, they swim in the luxury pools. Have fun!

PS- I made this scene because I wanted my avatar to have a place to relax and chat that looks like home. The color of the ocean and the island in the distance were taken from real photos I have taken here. The resolution of the island is limited by what the IMVU model allowed.
