A traditional saffron homespun chemise under a heavy canvas front-lacing bodice. It features copper grommets, and a leather cross-laced tie. This will look just fine on its own, and better with the matching add-on sleeves. It's made to go with my Molly Malone costume, but will look good with any peasant ensemble! The entire costume is based on a song my Nana, ar dheis De go raibh a hanam, used to sing me when I was little titled "Cockles and Mussels". Find the lyrics here!
