A simple peasant skirt in green homespun. It also has a heavy canvas apron, and underneath are light peach-toned bloomers trimmed in blue silk ribbon with blue-embroidered eyelet lace at the cuffs. This skirt is made to go with my Molly Malone costume, but will look good with any peasant ensemble! The entire costume is based on a song my Nana, ar dheis De go raibh a hanam, used to sing me when I was little titled "Cockles and Mussels". Find the lyrics here!

To you all, an Irish greeting for St. Patricks, and thank you! And remember to ask at the bar, "tabhair dom a rud céanna mar atá ag an fhear ar an urlar!" (Meaning, "give me the same as the man on the floor!")
