My take on the Wardrobe from Narnia!
The piece of furniture is my version of the wardrobe from "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe." I wanted to keep the feel of the original item from the movie without slavishly imitating it. This is a fine line to walk but I hope I've pulled it off.
For those not familiar with the concept, in the old days Wardrobes served the same function closets do now. They were actual furniture items used to hold clothing since built in closets did not exist then. It isn't a dresser in any sense, and stands larger than any dresser would, though you can re-size it using furniture technology to suit yourself.
This version is a furniture item and not wearable like the costume I made.
