The Movie was directed by James Whale, Anno 1931,
basing on a Novel of Mary Shelly, written Anno 1818.
By the way, the Doctors Name was "Dr. Frankenstein",
the Monster self was called "the Monster" or "Igor" when I remember right.
Sadly Wikipedia got no note about, so I will have to watch it again to find out.
*muhahahaha*
The first Frankenstein Movie was made Anno 1910,
Edison Studios, directed by J. Searle Dawley and Charles Ogle as the Monster.
