1 Baobab trees, also known as adansonia, are found in arid regions of Madagascar, mainland Africa, Arabia, and Australia . they are massive trees, with some reaching the height of nearly 100 feet (almost 30 meters) and a diameter of 30 to 50 feet (10 to 15 meters) . they can grow to be very old, with one tree dated at 1275 years old . sadly, because of climate change, they are now dying off at an alarming rate . the last picture shows real Baobab trees.
