Photobucket Combat rules **Note: because of a glitch reported by some, it is advised that all parties take a seat before the combatants begin the first roll of the dice. 1) Each player must state before combat begins if the fight is to the death or just sparring. If the combat is to the death then both parties must agree publicly to accept the outcome of the combat. 2) Each player moves to the first space on the board and then states what their action will be, the attacking player first. 3) The player then rolls the dice and advances to the number of spaces designated by the dice roll. (DO not count the square you are standing on when advancing.) The space you land on determines if your attack hits or misses. 4) The defending player then stands on the starting square and states what their defense will be and then rolls the dice and moves the designated number of spaces forward to determine if they were successful or not. 5) If the attacker fails in his attack, his opponent can then choose to attack and then states how they plan to attack, rolling the dice as above and moving forward on the board to see if they were successful. 6) If the defender fails in his defense they take a hit. 7) Combat will continue until one party is defeated, if you reach the end of the board, you carry over to the beginning of the board making sure to count the spaces you move properly. 8) The first player to take agreed number of hits loses minim of 4 maximum of 20. 9) All to the death combat will have witnesses from both sides. 10) if a neutral observer can be agreed upon by both parties, then that observer will have final say in disputes over the way a combatant moves or any other supposed violation of the rules. 11) Assassins ONLYIf an assassin rolls a double on the first roll of the dice then the person on the defense takes one hit and the assassin gets a second roll.(Unless that double lands them on a fail spot.) (This is because an assassin would have surprise on their side in the first attack.) 12) If during the course of the combat one of the combatants crashes then the combat will resume from where it left off after all parties have reloaded the room. If a person cannot remember where they were standing when they crashed then both parties will start at the beginning of the board and both parties will still have any hits they may have incurred in the previous combat session. 13) If the person on the defense has two hits against them and they crash when it is their turn, they automatically lose. (This rule is in place to stop people who roll and land on fail from crashing to get another chance.) Death Match Only Rules Death match is serious business, and you really need to taken serious or do not attempt it. 14) In combat to the death, the loser will change their name and give up any status they had I.E next of kin if the loser had a family member designated beforehand. 15) If the loser is the ruler of a city, possession of the city passes to their next in command, wife child or in the event thay have non it passes to closes family member. And they will be barred from regaining that status under the new name for a minimum of 2 months maximum agreed apon by combatants. Theses rules are in place to level the fighting feald and prevent God Modding in RPG. All combatants will read theses rules and agree before the fight begins ty and enjoy.
