Red She-Hulk, also called She-Rulk, is a fictional character, a supervillain in the Marvel Comics Universe. She is an unknown woman with the powers of the supervillain Red Hulk, and a villainous analogue to She-Hulk. The character first appears in Hulk (vol. 2) #15 (September 2009) and was created by writer Jeph Loeb and artist Ed McGuiness.
[edit] Publication history
Red She-Hulk's existence was revealed at the 2009 Comic-Con International, where promotional photos were released of her wearing a torn black jumpsuit, wielding an assault rifle and a sai, leading to immediate speculation towards her identity, which is unknown in real life and in the actual comic book, similar to her male counterpart.[1]
Her first on-panel appearance was in Hulk (vol. 2) #15. She is shown on the final page with the same outfit and weapons shown in initial promo shots. The torn jumpsuit was previously being worn by Domino, and the weapons she is shown wielding belong to Domino and Elektra, whom she was fighting.
Powers and abilities
Like the Red Hulk, Red She-Hulk has superhuman strength, invulnerability and a healing factor that allows her to easily survive what would normally be fatal injuries to humans, such as stab wounds to the leg and abdomen by Wolverine's claws. Also as with the Red Hulk, Red She-Hulk has yellow blood, and produces yellow energy from her eyes when angry.
