The taotie (饕餮) is a strange creature featured in Chinese art that dates back to circa 3,300 BCE. It is often referred to as one of the Four Fiends of Chinese mythology. Having been cursed by the Gods for some unknown transgression, it has no body, only a mouth and possesses a voracious appetite. It is always eating, always, like a gaki or a preta. It is the only way to ease the pain of its existence.

This taotie is gnawing away on your noggin. What a cute hat he makes! Its dangly, ineffectual arms look very much like adorable bunny ears. You can even pretend it is a bunny if you want. Does that make you feel better about it? I will not judge. But bunnies do not suck brains...
Try it before you buy it!
