The Broom
(for Male or Female avies!)

Need to clean up a mess? Well look elsewhere Buddy, because this Broom is made for Ride'n! Take to the air, witch-style with the flying Broom. This magically wood and straw item will have your avie zipping around like any good witch cliché should. The broom even stays hidden on your avie until it's used, for those times when you don't want everybody to know you're "Riding the Broom". Just make sure to avoid fire, as it's CRAZY flammable!

Commands are:
"SummonBroom" to make the broom appear from thin air, and force your avie to hold it.
"SurfBroom" to jump on the broom and ride around on it.
"MsWitch" allows you to sit on the broom, as it hovers, like Lady. (Think Bewitched)
"CrazyWitch" to straddle the Broom in an undignified manner and zip around like a Lunatic!

PLEASE NOTE: This item will work equally well with Male and Female avies, but is found under Female Accessories because IMVU lacks a Uni- category. This item conflicts with any item that uses Channel 56 in the avie's body. Extremely few items replace that body channel, but if one of your items does it will either remove this item, or the other item. If you're in doubt, use TRY IT before you BUY IT! There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't work with your existing outfit.

Don't like the color? Want some sound effects? Well then DERIVE IT! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and you can keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below are the templates you'll need to get started:

This is the texture map used on the Broom. Use this to make simple changes to the look of the Broom, like color:

There is an Opacity texture for the Broom, but on my version, it's all White, so I didn't post it here. But you can cut holes in the wood, or make the straw more bristly, by making a custom Opacity map of your own. Just make a copy of your existing texture map, and make all of the bits you want solid, white. Then make everything you want to be see-through, Black. It's very easy, just make sure your Opacity is the same size as your texture map, and the holes line up correctly.

This is the Wireframe for the Broom. Use this to make a completely new texture map from scratch:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
