Animated pirate flag on flagpole.

Continuing my series of historical (and fictional) pirate flags,
this flag features the personal emblem of the legendary
pirate Jack Sparrow, bearing his skull and crossbones along
with his sparrow bird logo, featuring in the closing scene of
the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie, 'At Worlds End'.

A pirate ahead of his time in many ways, Jack Sparrow liked to consider
himself as the epitome of a free spirit. He swished his way through life
with a slightly odd, but strangely wise attitude. He was perhaps a bit crazy,
for he may have been overbaked in the sun while marooned once. But he
was smart enough to survive in a tough world without resorting to force to
get what he wanted. In fact he once said "Why fight when you can negotiate?"
This led to some people believing him to have been a coward and truth be told
Jack was not heroic in the straightforward sense. He had an uncanny nack of
reading people and gladly manipulating them toward his own ingenious end.
