I figured that since I did a full-sized AKM that I should do something from the Armalite family. I was in the midst of deving a CAR-15/M4 (call it what you will) when I realized that it is the 21st Century and that direct impingment is filthy and lazy. Enter the 416/MR-556 by Heckler & Koch GmbH. They make the Mercedes Benzes of the firearms world. And, because this is IMVU, you do not have to settle for a lowly entry-level DPMS Oracle or a dodgey ATI Omni destined to split down the middle of the receiver after 800 rounds. It's all the same amount of credits (or predits, I don't hate; just give Izzy her dev token). But this is Izzy. This gun is kawaii! Peep the pix!



I was tempted to add Hk's unofficial motto ("Weil du saug und wir dich haßen.") but the 416/MR-556 is already engraved with enough rollmarks as it is. Besides, this is IMVU and nothing is unobtainable (except refunds!) to us plebeians. This features the 14 inch carbine barrel. The premium aftermarket furniture and magazine are all dyed pink and all of the takedown pins and trigger are anodized in the same hue. I also filled the rollmarks and serials with coloring. The upper, lower, forend, barrel and birdcage all feature a durable nitride finish.
In addition to the usual animations and poses found in all ICO weapons it also features a rangefinder with a working green laser. Just right click your avi and look for "Evil Pink Rifle" in the dropdown menu. This was a great mesh to work with and an incredibly detailed, sharp looking rifle. I have no idea how I will top this.
