The Lightning Suit
(This version is for Female avies, Male version sold separately!)

Is your Super Hero outfit looking a little droll? Is Goku not looking as powerful as you would have hoped? Or is your demon looking a bit more like an Emo kid with bad hair, then a bad-azz man-slayer? Well pump up that weak avie with the Lightning Suit. This suit covers your avies arms, legs, and torso in smoothly animated lightning that jumps up and down their body. Not only does it look cool, but it also doubles as a Bug Zapper!

PLEASE NOTE: This version is designed for the Female Default avies only. It won't properly fit Male avies, or some Custom avie models. There is a version for the Male Default avie, sold separately in the catalog. This item also conflicts with any item that uses Channel 47 in the avie's body. Extremely few items replace that body channel, but if one of your items does, it will either remove this item, or the other item. If you're in doubt, use TRY IT before you BUY IT! There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't work with your existing outfit or you buy the wrong version for your .

Wish that lightning came in another color? Maybe moved faster, or slower? Well then DERIVE IT! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and you can keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below are the templates you'll need to get started:

I'd show you the Texture map for the Lightning Suit, but it's just solid white. To change the color of all bolts, simple make a 32 x 512 image in any solid color. To add several colors, make horizontal streaks that match the position of the white streaks in the Opacity Layer below. Anything that doesn't line up with those streaks won't be visible:
[Any Image, 32 x 512 in size]

This is the Opacity layer for the Lightning Suit. It looks like gibberish, but all you need to know is that the more white dashes, the more bolts are visible at a time. Less dashes mean less bolts. Don't use Color here, instead add your color to the Texture Map. And make sure you have alot of black or the bolts won't flash, they will just stay on. The bolts look best when they flash!:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
