Salon in Mulberry from Whystler's Palace Series

Executed in a rich Venetian Marble, this Salon comes to you to use as part of your sumptuous apartments within the central Whyst Palace. It is a Furniture room, and because of it's size, it has an amazing number of nodes so that you can load it with your finest treasures and place them with utmost finesse.

It's derivable, so you can hire your favourite developers to help you decorate your vision of elegance.

Watch for more rooms in Whystler's Palace series, and one day when IMVU implements the linking function they have promised, you will be able to travel from room to room throughout your domain. You're sure to have more than one Salon in your apartments, so buy more than one, decorate them differently. Give your guests the Grand Tour visiting them all. Will you join me in the "mulberry room"?

I dreamt that I dwelt in marble halls
With vassals and serfs at my side
And of all who assembled within those walls
That I was the hope and the pride
I had riches to great to count, could boast
Of a high ancestral name
But I also dreamt, which pleased me most
That you loved me still the same
That you loved me, you loved me still the same

(From the opera "The Bohemian Girl" by Michael Balfe, 1843)

DEVELOPERS

You are hereby licensed to derive from this product if you agree to adhere to the following rules:

1. I would appreciate it if you did not derive from products derived from this, but rather please derive your products from this page. I'm interested in giving license to 2D artists who would like to use this mesh for their own designs. I do not ethically believe in pyramid schemes or middle men. Don't get greedy, get creative and then everyone can benefit from our art for a reasonable price. Deriving from this page also let's me see which products I have given license to use this mesh. As a courtesy to those trying to adhere to this rule, please do not make your derived products derivable.

2. Items derived from this mesh should not contravene the laws of Canada, or the province of Ontario.

3. It is my own personal wish that items derived from this product do not promote hate towards any group of people.

4. Any textures used for this root product, (except for the texture templates and images mentioned below), are under copyright may not be used in any product, including those derived from this root product, without express written permission from T. Shawn Johnson.

Thank you for your interest in deriving from my art! I hope you have as wonderful an experience as I have developing in IMVU.

Remember: do not set your items derivable. If you have set your item derivable, and cannot change it back to non-derivable, you may be asked to remove it from the catalogue

Texture Notes:
-For all walls, including the one outside wall, use a square image. I have gone the full gamut and used 512x512 pixel textures for the walls for best resolution. -For the floor, use a square image. Again, I used a 512x512 pixel texture. -For the ceiling, use a square image. -For the rectagular base of the column, use an image that is twice as high as it is wide. I have used a 128 pixel high x 64 pixel wide image. -For the column, use a 16 pixel wide x 256 pixel high (or a 32x512) image. -For the trim, which exists on the column top, column base tops and bottoms, the molding on top of the room, and also on parts of the window pieces, use an image that tiles nicely without much detail. -For the arichitecture framing the tops and bottoms of the windows use textures that are twice as wide as they are high. -For the supports between the windows, use a texture that is 32 pixels wide and 256 pixels high. -Here is a texture you can use to paint on top of, to make your inside window wall. You may include the graphic here used for the window panes.

And here is it's opacity mask:

TEXTURES YOU MAY USE
-You are allowed to use the window panes image for the outside of the front wall
-You are allowed to use the landscape image that can be seen when looking out the window
-You are allowed to use the trim image.
-You are allowed to use any of the images that support or frame the window. This includes the bottom under the window, the supports between the windows, and the tops above the windows.

TEXTURES YOU MAY NOT USE
-You may not use the wall images, including the image for the wall on the inside that has a window in it. You may, however, use the template above and it's mask to paint on top of to create your inside window wall image. The windows panes can be used in your new image.
-You may not use the floor image
-You may not use the column base or column image
-You may not use the ceiling image
