The nurturing Greek goddess of the harvest, Demeter, loses her daughter to the underworld for six months a year. In that time she mourns and the land fades to autumn, and then winter. Eventually, though, her daughter returned and Demeter, overjoyed, once again blesses the earth to provide food to all its people. This kimono takes its inspiration there, and includes the full outfit.
