This product has been updated! Please click here for the new version. Now easier to put in the fireplace, plus improved graphics. Thanks for making this the best-selling fire for fireplaces on IMVU!

The animated image of a log fire in a metal grate (shown in icon at top left and below) was made to fit inside certain types of room fireplaces.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS for placement are at the bottom of this page. The firelogs can work with some fireplaces that have node for an insert (like the one that comes with "My First Room - Loft"), but due to the variety of furniture fireplaces and rooms, there is no guarantee.

Below: Animated log Fire shown in the Cherry/Marble Room (click here), sold separately.

Below: Shown in the First Loft, sold separately.

Below: Also looks great in fireplaces that you can purchase separately, such as AnakaTarren's Large Fireplace with double mantles (click here), available in several colors, all sold separately. All items shown below are sold separately and available in AnakaTarren's catalog.

Want to warm up that cold looking grate in your fireplace? Add AnakaTarren’s firelogs behind your existing grate to add a toasty and welcoming feel to your room! All items sold separately and available in AnakaTarren's catalog.

Below: Instructions for placement in certain types of Rooms. These are as examples only. You may need to use a different combination of furniture commands to load this into your room!

Please Do not buy this UNLESS you are willing to experiment and assume the risk for proper placement with the furniture commands. Patience and experimentation on your part may be required. Use the Shift and Control keys with Move, Rotate, and Scale commands in the furniture menu for custom placements. Also, the Control-Move combination affects movement differently based on whether you are looking at the item from the front or side!

To put into place in rooms from the Tudor Tavern or Square Living Room categories:
1. Use "Move" from the furniture menu to move the firelogs into the fireplace.
2. Use "Shift-Rotate" from the furniture menu to "stand up" the firelogs inside the fireplace. (If the log fire inserts sideways into your room's fireplace, use "Rotate" and then "Cntl-Rotate" instead.)
3. Use "Scale" from the furniture menu to make the firelog image larger or smaller, if necessary.

To put into place in "My First Room - Loft":
1. “Rotate” the firelogs 180 degrees so the top of the flames are in the direction of the fireplace.
2. Stand the firelogs up vertically using “Shift-Rotate”.
3. Drag the firelogs as close to the front of the fireplace as you can using the “Move” command.
4. Change the camera perspective so you are looking directly at the fireplace. (The next step Control-Move creates different types of movement based on camera angle.)
5. Use “Control-Move” to shift the firelogs sideways until they are centered in front of the fireplace.
6. Change the camera perspective so you are looking at the side of the firelogs but can still see the original fireplace insert (so you don’t move the fire back too far).
7. Use “Control-Move” to shift the firelogs backwards into the fireplace until it appears to be at a proper depth.
8. Change the camera view so you are looking at the front of the firelogs.
9. Use the “Scale” command, highlight the firelogs (make sure you don’t highlight the fireplace by accident), and scale the firelogs to fit the opening as you desire.
10. You can also use “Shift-Move” to adjust the vertical position higher or lower if needed.
11. Fine tune the firelog placement using combinations of the above commands until you are satisfied with the fit.
