Named after the 20th century ground attack aircraft from old Terra. The A-10 starfighter (AKA the Razorback) is also a craft built around it's guns and engines.
Like it's name sake the entire craft centers around a pair of twin linked V-33A vulcan machine guns. They have been put into service as everything from a inner system interceptor, to front line starfighters.
