As a long-term Harley Quinn fan, I've always gotten a kick of her fun and eccentric attitude but pitied her being in "crazy love" with a man who continues to use and abuse her, suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and fearing the person she adores. This is an anti Mad Love badge; which, instead of supporting the toxic relationship between the Joker and his "toy", this badge supports Harley's character development in the comics since published in 2011, when she dumped the Joker to learn self-love and independence and has never gone back.
Some new Harley, Joker, and DC fans are unaware of how poorly Joker treats Harley, misunderstanding her consent regarding it. But this character arc is CANON. If you'd like to see the comic panels and learn more, lemme know! I love discussing DC! But Harley's growth is official and is an inspiration to actual people that are or have been in abusive relationships. Not one person deserves to be mistreated, not even a fictional one.
