Samhain, or summer's end, is the Wiccan New Year .. it is one of four Greater Sabbats, and the highest holy day of witches .. it's the time of year, when the veil between the world of the dead and the world of the living is said to be it's thinnest .. when spirits and souls of loved ones are said to have more power and ability to visit us .. Samhain marks the rising of the Pleiades, which is one of my favorite constellations..
