The Tricorn Hat for Women

The Tricorn Hat is leather head wear based on a popular style from the late 17th to 18th century. Originally designed as rainwear to protect the wearer's face in large downpours, this style of hat became popular with everyone from noblemen to pirates. This version comes in simple black, a very popular color for the times. If you want another color or something more ornate, check under "See derivations" below, or derive it and make that special version yourself!

The Commands are "HatNormal", "HatBack", and "HatDown". These commands will change how your avie wears the hat, and will remain active as long as you are wearing the hat. The hat will snap back into the "HatNormal" position when you change rooms or put the hat on again.

PLEASE NOTE: This version is made for FEMALE AVIES! It will not correctly fit Male avies. There is a separate version for Male avies available in the catalog. It also won't correctly fit non-standerd Avie heads. It's made for the Default avie head only. And larger hair styles will penetrate the hat. So please -> Use TRY IT before you BUY IT! Test the hat with your hair and avie's head BEFORE you buy it. There will be NO REFUNDS if you buy the wrong version by accident, or it doesn't work with your existing outfit. Use TRY IT before you BUY IT!

Don't like basic Black? Wish the hat had a bit more style? Well then DERIVE IT! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and you can keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below are the templates you'll need to get started:

This is the texture used on the Tricorn Hat. The one you see in IMVU has been scaled down to 512x128, but you can scale this up or down as much as you want, within the 512 maximum pixel size. Use this texture map to make simple changes like color, or adding some kind of decal:
