Welcome to Gypsie's Winter Castle made by request for a dear Lady Gypsie01. These pieces are derived from the oh-so-talented Whystler's modular castle pieces.
You may purchase each piece separately or get started quickly with my first bundle found here. Or for endless possibilities combine with my roofed pieces found here. I will quote Whystler whom I feel best describes how the castle works.
"Whyst Castles are unique in that they are built with IMVU's furniture technology. Each piece in the bundle will snap into place and match up with other pieces when placed on the special island room included. This way you can build a castle exactly the way you want it - the castle of your dreams! What's even more special is that each piece has an outside, which appears on the island when you place it, and also an inside!
The inside exists in a completely different location in the room, and can only be accessed with the use of a door piece. When you click on the door, it will transport you to the area where all the inside of your castle has been custom built based on where you placed your pieces on the island. And it doesn't stop there. At the inside location, there are four levels of furniture nodes so you can decorate the inside of your castles exactly to taste with all of your favourite couches, chairs, statues, pictures, tables that already exist in your inventory.
Here is a list of the types of items in your bundle, with a description and tips about building:
Wall Pieces - These are the standard building blocks of the castle set. Simply put, they are walls. Within the walls, in the remote inside area, are corridors and small rooms that you can decorate as you please. You will notice on the outside, they are open on the ends. This to to remind you to always cap your walls in some fashion with other walls, gates, end pieces, stairs or towers. Walls, as all pieces, come in three heights or levels that define how many stories the wall has.
Gate Pieces - Gate pieces function much like walls do and have the same properties except that each gate piece has a opening on the bottom, and the uppermost floors are always slightly larger rooms. Use gate pieces as entrances to castle courtyards, or to make fancy stilted walls.
Tower Pieces - These are your connectors. They can be used very successfully as corners, connecting walls or gates at right angles. Each tower is about half a story taller than it's cooresponding wall or gate. Always make sure to cap the sides of your towers in some way, because as you will see, the inside areas of your towers are completely open unless you cap them in some fashion. You can do this by placing wall, gate or end piece in such a way that the full surface of the tower wall is covered. If you don't wish to have something against part of your tower, you can always use the patchit piece to cap towers on the inside.
End Pieces - These will be your main capping pieces. They stop up openings you don't want, and also add a nice decorative finish. Never embed end pieces into other pieces, because it will cause a problem on the insides of your rooms. Instead, use the right pieces for the right job. That's why there are so many. You will understand in time as you play with the pieces.
Patchit Piece - This is a little piece to only be used on the inside to patchup tower walls that have not been capped on the outside.
End Spiral Staircases - Staircases fit on the ends of walls, gates, and against tower pieces. They give the illusion of easy access from floor to floor, and they look pretty :) These come two stories and three stories tall (2 flights, or 3 flights of stairs).
Door Piece - This piece is so exciting! It works like a lower end piece, and hence can be used to cap the ends of low walls, gates and tower, but truly it's main function is to transport you from the outside to the inside of your castle when you click on it!"
