"Capulana's" are the simple cotton printed cloths that Mozambican women wear, often untailored but rather wrapped or knotted around the body in very imaginative ways. But long gone are the days of the simple printed patterns. One can find locally designed Capulana's with brocade, beads, metal details and a variety of rich materials such as shells and mother-of-pearl.
