Don't Buy this weapon!
DERIVE FROM IT!

Get started on making your OWN sword with the Derive-A-Sword. This gaudy weapon is designed to show you the full potential this template has to offer, with a large space for the Blade, Hilt, and even a Hand Guard. You can make this template into ANYTHING! Make a Battle Axe! Make a Rapier! Make a Dead Rat on a Stick! All you need is an image of the sword's blade, handle, hilt, and Black&White masks to show the template which parts are visible and invisible.

And, just like my other Action weapons, this model has full body Avie animation! Type in "Cut", "Chop", or "Slash" to see the avie take a swing. You can change the trigger word and even upload your own sound effects when you derive from this model. Or disable the animation entirely!

PLEASE NOTE: This item will ONLY work with MALE AVIES! It will not work with Female avies. There is a separate version for Female avies available in the catalog. It replaces the Right Hand, so it won't work with gloves or any other hand replacements. Please, TRY IT before you BUY IT! There will be NO REFUNDS if you buy the wrong version by accident, or it doesn't work with your existing outfit. TRY IT before you BUY IT!

So don't buy this weapon, DERIVE FROM IT! Make your own prefect sword today!
(Also look for "Magic Derive-A-Sword" version, which fits on your back and works with both genders)

Here's the template images you'll need to get started:

This is Color image for the Sword's blade. This is just a demo, please don't use this ugly shape for your weapon. You can paint ANY kind of blade you like. Use your Imagination! The Handle and Hilt attach at the center line.

This is the Opacity image for the Sword's Blade. Once you paint the Color image, make an outline of your sword's edges, filling the center in with white, and the outside with blade. That will be the Opacity image for your sword:

This is the handle for the sword. It has no Opacity, and is the only non-flat part of the sword. It fits inside the player's hand, so they'll never seem much of this:

This is the Color image for the Hilt of the sword, which goes around the handle and extends down below it. My demo has a VERY exaggerated Hilt, which you probably won't want. You can make the Hilt has crazy or simple as you want with Opacity map, like you did with the blade. Or paint it all black and make it disappear completely:

This is the Opacity map. Use this to control the size and shape of your sword's Hilt. Despite what you see here, the Opacity and Color images *MUST* be the same size!:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
