This is an animated Pan African flag with very realistic billowing effect. It is the symbol of Black Pride, of African Independence from white rule and exploitation, and of the Afro-American Civil Rights Movement, a protest against racial discrimination and abuse from caucasian people after experiencing 400 years of slavery. It is the symbol of the Spirit of Africa and represents all that is great about Africa, its potential, and its future. It is a flag that all people descended from Africa can identify with and unite under, including the peoples of the Caribbean. The black civil rights movement in the United States was catalysed by people such as Marcus Garvey, Rosa Parkes, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Louis Farrakhan. Louis is now outspoken against the global banking system which is responsible for terrible suffering and poverty all around the world including in what are considered to be first world nations. The election of Barack Obama to the office of President of the United States was seen by many as the culmination of a campaign for racial justice and equality lasting many decades. Many African Americans are now taking steps to rediscover and reclaim their true ancestry, their original language, names, music, and geography.
