This is a representation of Navajo Nation's Park, also known as, Monument Valley, and was derived from one of ChicByTrinity's wonderful rooms .. Monument Valley in the Navajo language means, "valley of the rocks" .. it's a region of the Colorado Plateau characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes, the largest reaching 1,000 ft above the valley floor, and is located on the Arizona-Utah state line, near the four corners area .. the valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation and is accessible from U.S. Highway 163 .. back in the 1970's i road a bicycle through the area in mid summer, as part of a tour from Aspen to Phoenix..
