The Space Helmet for Women

Are micro-asteroids putting unwanted holes in your head? Vacuum of space giving you an explosive headache? Maybe it's time to protect your fragile, fleshy head with a Space Helmet. This sealed noggin protector will keep your ears warm, your hair un-mussed, and your brain un-imploded. All good things!

PLEASE NOTE: This item will ONLY fit the DEFAULT FEMALE AVIE correctly! It will not fit the default Male avies or custom avie heads correctly. There is a separate version for Male avies available in the catalog. Please use TRY IT before you BUY IT to ensure that it fits your avie. There will be NO REFUNDS if you buy the wrong version by accident, or it doesn't work with your existing outfit. TRY IT before you BUY IT!

Don't like basic black? Want more or less tinting to the glass? Then DERIVE IT! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and you can keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below are the templates you'll need to get started:

This is the Color texture for the Frame of the Helmet. The Frame is the solid parts around the Glass. This is the version you'd see if you used my version of the helmet. Due to it's small size on the avie, I've likewise made the skin small for it, although you don't have to make it this small if you feel it needs to be sharper. Use this skin to make small changes in the design, like new colors, adding damage, or logos:

This is the Wireframe template for the Frame of the Helmet. Use this if you want to build an entirely new skin from scratch and you need to see where every pixel goes on the polygonal structure:

This is the Color texture for the Glass on the Helmet:

This is the Opacity texture for the Glass. The darker this image is, the more transparent the glass will become. If you use solid black, the glass will be invisible, and if you use solid white, the helmet will be solid:
