Tip #1: Fine Tuning: Moving Furniture pieces exactly where you want them to be (in room edit mode)!
1. Get your furniture as close to where you want it as possible ... this will let you get the maximum out of the following instructions below.
2. Click on the little button that looks like a hammer at the bottom left of your screen.
3. Click on the button that looks like 3 arrows (move button) or the one that looks like an almost closed circle (rotate button) at the bottom right of your screen, whichever you are trying to adjust.
4. Hold Ctrl or Shift and grab a furniture item. You can now move the item side to side or rotate it at different angles.
5. Got it where you want it??? Lock it down! See the little button at the bottom right that has what looks like a carpenter's square and a padlock on it? Click that and use ctrl and shift to lock down your item or unlock it so you can move it again. Once you lock it ... there's no more "accidentally" grabbing it when trying to position other items in your room.
Doing these things will allow to move your furniture slightly one way or the other enough to get them EXACTLY where you want them. Happy Decorating!
