I am pleased to be offering today this solid cherrywood fancy cutout press back multi-turn spindle post rocker that dates from the turn of the century (1900’s). The rocker has satin sheen of lacquer and a big reupholstered seat in a tapestry or brocade fabric. The rocker has been all tightened up and is ready for years of carefree enjoyment. The multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer will ensure that the finish will last for decades. It is a manly in size, but stylish in style. It has multi-turn solid wood spindles that the back posts go right into the solid wood seat, the front spindles support the rolled scroll arms that go into the seat. The base is all multi-turn with the original oak rockers and the back is all pierce carved or cutout like a saber sawn pattern. On top of the double press section it has multi-turn spindles that support the crest rail. The size is 24 inches across the arms, 19 inches on the inside of the arms, 21 inches deep from the front to the back , 44 inches to the posts when it is at the normal resting position and 16 inches high to the seat. It is a great rocker that is fancier than normal
