Hand carved of solid cherrywood about 1895, a Renaissance design bed has been adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress .
The satiny finish is excellent. Deep moldings, spiral columns and graceful carving are masterful. Historic furniture from Italy, carved panels are shaped and raised on this grand antique.
