Deep in the heart of the Mist Forests, which have remained untouched for centuries in the Land of Whyst, live the secretive race of Elfin. Their culture is shrouded in mystery, but they are not lost to the eyes of so-called civilization. A diligent seeker will find them, but not without toil and not without a price. For to find the Elfin is a transforming experience.
After drinking of the pristine and magical waters from cup-shaped canopy leaves, the seeker is no longer separate from this ancient race and is reborn into the Elfin Tribes. With this comes the ability to change at will in any situation into the wildy beautiful Elfin form.

About The Style: This new head for IMVU follows a popular fantasy art-styling of elf and faery like creatures by incorporating elements of animal features. This gives the character an appearance of being "closer to nature". The same technique can be found in the drawings of Brian Froud, and the sculpture of Wendy Froud, who both played integral parts in the creation of the world of Dark Crystal. Turn of the century artists such as Arthur Rackham also used this same marriage of wild and human features to create fantasy characters in illustration.
