The Alien Wrists
(This version is for Female avies ONLY! Male version sold separately)

Alien Wrists. What can be said about Alien Wrists that hasn't been said countless times throughout the ages. Just kidding. WTF did I make a pair of Alien Wrist replacements? Because somebody asked me to! And if you derive them, you're most likely THAT girl. It's got 4 attack animations, spindly fingers, and a finger "coating" layer to allow the fingers to be blood stained (or just dirty). The fingers themselves are AnySkin, so they will always match the player's skin.

Commands:
"BlastL" - Fires the Left Blaster (his left, not yours)
"BlastLSide" - Fires the Left Blaster to the Left
"BlastR" - Fires the Right Blaster
'BlastRSide" - Fires the Right Blaster to the Right

PLEASE NOTE: This version of the Alien Wrists is for Female avies ONLY! It won't work with Male avie due to the use of AnySkin. It replaces the Hand/Wrist on both sides, so it won't work with any other hand replacements, like gloves. This also may, or may not, include certain accessories, like guns. Please use "Try It" before then "Buy It", to ensure it works with your wardrobe.

Don't like the color of the Wrists? Could do without the blood? Want the beams to be blue? And how about some Sound Effects?? Well then, get to work and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Here are the templates you'll need below:

This is the actual Texture map used on the Wrist Guards. The black strip on either end forms the circle for the barrel of the blaster. Use this to make simple changes, like Color. :

This is the Wireframe Template of the Wrist Guards. This shows you exactly how the Texture map adheres to the structure of the model. You'll need this if you want to create a completely new Wrist Guard texture from scratch:

This is the Texture map for the Finger Coating:

This is the Opacity layer for the Finger Coating. An Opacity layer is like a Black and White Silhouette that controls the visibility of the model. The whiter this image, the more solid the model it's attached to becomes. Solid black is invisible, and gray is transparent. You'll mostly want to stick to solid Black and White. This image needs to match the layout and size of your Texture map. If you wish to redefine the shape of the Finger Coating (for instance, turn it into rings), you'll need to edit this image. Alternatively, you can remove the coating entirely by using an all-black image. Or make the coating solid with a all-white image, allowing you to control the appearance, there by making Finger Coating the finger's main texture and hiding the AnySkin fingers underneath:

This is the Wireframe for the Finger Coating. You'll need this if you want to change the coating. Keep all changes inside the structure shown here, or your new Opacity layer and Texture map will get cut off:

This is the Additive texture for the Beam effect. An Additive texture is an image that is glowing, and is brighter, and more solid, the lighter each pixel is. If you wish to change the type of beam being fired by the Wrists, just make sure it's sufficiently close to white towards the middle of this image, or your beam will be very dull, or even nearly invisible. You can not, for instance, have a black beam using an Additive texture. To make a black beam, you'd have to create a matching Opacity layer for your new black-beam texture:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Please keep your sound volume levels within acceptable limits. DON'T MAKE YOUR SOUND AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!!! Loud sounds will annoy other users, and reduce your sales. Also avoid using Looping sounds, as IMVU has no controls to stop Looping sounds once they start playing.
