Deriving!

Before you are put off by using maps

(I know I know I don't like them myself

- but they improve performance in IMVU client)

let me explain how to easily use them.

Each map below is 512x512

Each part of the map below shows you your texture size for that particular bit.

Make your textures according to the sizes as normal.

Turn on your grid in you image editor and set grid size to 16 pixels

If you don't know how, Google will have the answers in seconds ;)

Paste each image onto the map and it will snap into the grid and give you much easier positioning.

Don't be afraid to give it a go!
