Kanzashi July
July is the month that maiko wear beautiful glittering kanzashi with cool motifs in pastel hues.
Fans (both the folding fans and the round uchiwa types) and worn, as are swirling water and butterflies. Dewdrops are a commonly seen motif as well, as are dragonflies and grass.
