Before I always worked manually on animation in 3d max ,which was very time cosuming and the results were not as good as a real human movment captured by a pc. I also Modified severals mocap files togheter changing them to be a new animation, but i wanted to make something more. What is motion capture? Motion capture it refers to recording actions of human actors using sensors placed all over the body and filmed by special cameras which captures all the movments , the information is then processed by a pc and the 3d designer can animate a digital character model in 3D . Of course to have all those equipment is VERY expensive but now there are new ways of making mocap which are more economic and practical .of course results are not the same as those obtained by a famous 3d film studio but well I hope that practicing and post processing my animation the results will improve.
