The note slipped beneath your door read "Meet at the cross in the Shadowmere woods, at midnight." Despite the rain and the mist, you hurry to get there on time. But on your arrival, you find only a single scarlet blossom, tucked into the center of the weather-beaten granite cross.

Perhaps it is not quite midnight, and you're too early? Perhaps your contact is simply running late? ...or perhaps you have been led into a trap....
