The sole remaining Saiyan in the first future of DragonBall Z. He came back twenty years to the past to 1) save Goku from a deadly virus and 2) try to destroy the coming Androids that would plague and terrorize the Earth. At first, Goku is the only who knows who this mysterious Saiyan's parentage, but it becomes clear later on in the Cell Saga (the whole time Bulma can be seen holding a baby that looks a LOT like Future Trunks lol).
