Nemo's Retreat!

I wanted to create an underwater scene, something that would reflect the depths of the ocean. Many of the scenes designed for this use are fantasy related, suitable for mermaids/men. Other scenes are partially underwater, partially above. After working on the problem for a while I settled on this scene, an underwater sphere. The spherical shape resists pressure better than any other shape, making it perfect for the ocean depths. Regretably there are no floating spots outside the sphere but I think I've captured the image of an underwater home. For the conosiuers of luxury living, how can you get more exclusive than an undersea home? Anyone interested in my other items may follow the link at the bottom of the page.

Exterior View
This shows the surrounding landscape. The dark tones reflect the limited light under the ocean and the flowing lava waterfall in the distance is animated, as is the surrounding water "sky."

The First Floor
The bottom floor uses rich woodtones from the Teak Parquet flooring to the Mahogany staircase. It is accented with Brass triming and details which I always feel do well with wood, and the deep brown metal of the shell and elevator shaft (working elevator) helps tie the textures together.

The Second Floor
The 2nd floor up continues the theme but includes a deep red carpeting to bring color into the room.

The Third Floor
The 3rd floor going up is lighter in tone due to the tile and rivited white metal ceiling. Variations like this keep it from looking monotonus.

The Fourth Floor
The 4th and final floor going up repeats the feeling of the first floor, and is just as luxurious. The ceiling in here is different due to the sphere design and the space is smaller but it would make a great bedroom or maybe even a porchlike area.
