There are three duty uniforms without the jacket to either allow the wearer some change, or to give the group of role players a specific look (general colours, white, or more militant black), or to provide the general look, a dress white duty version, and a dress black duty version, where the jacket is too formal for the work being done, and formality is still a requirement. You should have the ability to change your look up within your rank and job description, and this line of Star Trek apparel allows that to happen. You will have noticed that the Admiralty uniforms are far more expensive than regular uniforms. You want to be sure that few others will chose to pay for Admiralty uniforms unless they actually are in the Admiralty, but also look at it this way – you're the FLEET ADMIRAL NOW.
