The kangaroo is a marsupial mammal. They, along with a few other Australian animals, can carry their young in their pouch until they're old enough to go on their own. Some kangaroos can grow up to 2 meters (6'7") and weigh up to 90 kg (200 lb).Kangaroos are herbivores and have long legs which allow them to jump at high speeds and heights. Kangaroos are only found on the continent/ country of Australia. They reside in mostly grassed plains. This is the red kangaroo and is larger than the grey kangaroo.
