The cherrywood case finish is very well preserved. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its soft sheen.
The brass eight day movement keeps excellent time twice a day at 9:12 but it has been professionally adjusted and oiled. :) Over the ANIMATED brass pendulum and weights is a etched glass door.
