If you want to go at the same beat, you will need to grab a friend and both get on a spot, then "shake hands" and you will be in sync
Another way is to watch one person on the floor and wait for the cycle to repeat. When it does jump on the floor and you should both be pretty synced up. (the second one takes practice :D Also note that everyone's computer runs at different speeds. If it's synced for you, doesn't mean it's synced for someone else.)
Just put this dance floor anywhere in your room, jump on it, and dance. If you don't want to see the floor, just slide it below your main floor in edit mode.
