Many creators have problems when trying to derive from flash products and make own configuration.
I will base this tutorial on one of my freebie flash product: http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=19616625 (Flash Promoting Banner for creators).
This customizable flash product allows you to set any image banner link or icon links to your best products.

Prepare, lets say, 400x100 banner as banner.png, 8 100x80 icons of your best products as icon1.png, icon2.png, icon3.png, icon4.png, icon5.png, icon6.png, icon7.png, icon8.png.

Now, open notepad or other editor that allows saving to standard txt file (notepad++ is nice editor with line numbering and other nice things).
Our product have two configuration txt files (other flash products may also work with XML), pics.txt for names of images and urls.txt for links.
Create pics.txt file and write all image filenames with extensions in notepad.
Create urls.txt file and write all links (each image form pics.txt is connected with each link from urls.txt).
In our example, banner.png from pics.txt configutation file will be connected with link to http://avatars.imvu.com/speedstar84 from urls.txt file.
Next lines will work (connect) in the same way.

Popular mistakes (if something does not work):
- wrong file name - file names are case sensitive so watch out for big or small characters
- doubled extension - system may hide extension, so sometimes we write file as for example pics.txt.txt

Derive from flash product (in our example: http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=19616625 ) to run create mode in IMVU client.
On top bar, you will find folder/dir icon (these are assets). Click on it. File explorer/manager window should appear.
Copy all your files there, directly (dont use folders/dirs, except when flash product mention about it).

Meshers can add their own mesh and have my permission to set it derivable and set price if they want.
If you have one and know how to do it, set your mesh files first.
Next, be sure that flash SWF file is set right. In create mode, go to config, find Flash Settings section, check if Flash SWF is choosen (in our example: s84banner.swf) and Trigger type is set to Seat.

Like always, just use Apply Changes and Save buttons.

Sit on (go to) mesh dot/node and see what happens.
Still see previous default configuration? Go back to step 2 and read about popular mistakes. If you found yours, edit files/filenames, copy all files to assets again (overwrite) and go to step 5.
