Avernus - The First Level of Hell.

Samuel and his group found themselves in an area of Avernus which was filled with the skeletal remains of scores of dragons of various sizes, but all with the same crimson bone structure of each other. He looked to the others after he walked to one of the skeletons to observe it more closely. "I have never seen bones like this, how about the rest of you?"

Isabell walked up to them and scowled "They look to be remains of the Dragons of the Kim'esta Mountains, Sam. Beherit spoke of them a few times when I was his captive in Malbolge shortly before you and Rory rescued me from there." she said to him as she thought back to her captivity and shuddered slightly.

"From what he said, they are all but extinct now and actually seemed rather concerned about the reports of so many of their numbers ending up in hell and wondered where their remains had ended up, actually. It was also hinted by members of the court that the Illithid of Dra-Mur-Shou were behind the fall of this great race of dragons."

Atesekiel, the master theif of the group leaned down and picked up one of the bones to look at it closely before he dropped it in pain and the smell of his burning flesh filled the air and he cursed in a language the others did not understand "The techomage is correct, m'Lord."

Samuel nodded to the demon and then started to walk towards the mountains to the east of them "I assume you have more to tell us of them?" he asked. Atesekiel nodded to him and started to say something before Samuel cut him off "We have a long journey ahead of us do not feel we should dally here. You can tell us more once we have left this graveyard."
