Not all Ancient Egyptian women went around half naked! I offer you a more demure Egyptian garment, yet still rich in royal traditions. Woven with pure gold wrapped cotton thread into a cloth strip fit for a Queen or High Priestess. The fabric was then decorated with hieroglyphics. This long strip of golden cloth would be wrapped in a special way over a layered papyrus type underskirt closely resembling the chiffon of today.

Ah yes, the Ancient Egyptians were masters at the art of wrapping, whether it was their living or their dead. The outfit would then be completed with intricate beads and jewelry. A simple lapis lazuli stone pin comes with this golden dress. Have fun adding your own special jewelry and accessories! Adding eyelashes will remove the dress.
