The Bundeswehr Wüstentarn is a desert camouflage used by the Bundeswehr (German armed forces). It is the desert variant of Flecktarn and is also known as Tropentarn, desert flecktarn, and fleck desert, outside Germany, and it's called too "wüstentarn" or better "wuestentarn", inside Germany, where "Tropentarn" has never been an official designation.
Instead of the 5-color scheme of greens, brown, and black of temperate Flecktarn, it utilizes only three colors: a base color of khaki tan with medium brown and dark green spots.
